Back by popular demand, we will EXPERIENCE INTERFAITH on October 27, 2016, at the Lath House at Heritage Square in downtown Phoenix, 7th Street and Monroe, starting at 5:30pm.

Over 25 faith communities join in this community- building event by sharing aspects of their faith that have been misunderstood in the past and often leads to conflict. This event works at developing a civil dialogue among members of all faith groups in our Valley in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. This year’s theme is about how we can make the Golden Rule, which incidentally is found in most of the sacred writings of the faith groups represented, a valuable resource in making our neighborhoods a safer and more peaceful place to live in and how can we make it work to bring greater understanding and respect among the multiple faith groups that make up our neighborhoods.

We expect between 400-500 people at this event which is prefaced by a Langar meal served by our Sikh community. This vegetarian dinner is marvelous, and prepared by several Sikh members who own Indian Restaurants.

The event begins with a Faith Fair at 5:30 and then at 6:30 the Langar meal is served and the program of dialogue in small circles of people of different faith traditions begins. For a better understanding and a better idea of what this event looks like you can see pictures and a Channel 8 spotlight on our web-site at azifm.org.

This year we are inviting the Mayors of our cities in the Valley along with the new Chief of Police of Phoenix, Jerri Williams and the Police Chiefs of each Valley city. We hope the community will join us in coming together to make a difference!

Get your free tickets at THIS LINK on our website.

We invite you to share a flyer / PowerPoint Info slide (via our website) with friends, family, those you worship with. Thank you!
