The Arizona Interfaith Movement partnered with Just Serve and the Arizona Coalition for Military Families to provide over 5,000 Christmas thank you cards to members of the Arizona Army National Guard, Arizona Air National Guard and Air Force Personnel at Luke Air Force Base. The project was led by Judy Renfro, AIFM Board Member and leader of Just Serve, a website that pairs volunteers with nonprofit organizations and faith communities in need of volunteers. Assisting Judy were John Akram, who delivered the cards to the Air National Guard and Luke Air Force Base and Mike Wold who delivered the cards to the Army National Guard. Most of the cards were created by elementary school age children in schools and faith communities.
