Diane Hanover has been serving as the Christian Science Committee on Publication for Arizona since 2015. In this role, she answers inquiries from the public and provides accurate information and resources about the practice of Christian Science; and also works regularly with Arizona Christian Science churches. At the same time, she works remotely for the denomination’s headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, where she has served at various times in the public affairs office of the Church for about 18 years. Diane completed post-baccalaureate work in education at the University of Arizona and worked as an editor at Houghton Mifflin Co. in Boston. Active in her local church in Tucson, she has served terms as First Reader—an elected, lay individual who leads worship services—and has taught Sunday School for more than 40 years.
