AZIFM partnered with Saint Vincent de Paul, contributing to their mission by placing Sweet Dream cards with uplifting messages on the pillows of residents seeking shelter. This small gesture brought comfort and hope to many individuals during challenging times.

The year 2024 was indeed a “Sweet Dream” experience for the Arizona Interfaith Movement (AZIFM). Their efforts to spread kindness and compassion through the Sweet Dream cards initiative made a significant impact on the community.

In December, AZIFM set up Giving Tables next to the Light the World Giving Machines. This initiative provided the community with an opportunity to create Sweet Dream cards filled with loving and encouraging messages. It was heartwarming to see parents having meaningful conversations with their children about the importance of these cards and the positive impact they would have on those seeking shelter.

Additionally, AZIFM participated in the Walk 4 Unity in Chandler, commemorating U.N. Human Rights Day. The theme for this year’s event was Freedom, Equity, and Justice for all. AZIFM set up a service table, inviting attendees to create Sweet Dream cards, further spreading the message of unity and compassion.

In November, AZIFM also set up a service table at the Guru Nanak Dwara during the Experience Interfaith event. This provided attendees with an opportunity to serve the community by creating Sweet Dream cards.

The initiative gained widespread support, with schools, families, faith groups, and community members participating through JustServe.org. Together, they created an impressive 3,000 Sweet Dream cards, each one a testament to the power of kindness and community spirit.

Overall, AZIFM’s Sweet Dream cards initiative in 2024 was a beautiful example of how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of those in need.
